Texas Monthly BBQ Fest comes to Lockhart for the first time in November of 2022! The 2-day event is an obvious fit for the BBQ Capital of Texas, and will showcase the state's mouthwatering best!

The Old Settlers Music Festival, held in April, features American roots, bluegrass, and folk music, with crafts and camping on the 145 acre festival grounds.

The Chisholm Trail Roundup is one of Lockhart's most iconic events, with a rodeo, live music, fair, and a parade that passes right in front of Birdie House on the second full weekend of June.

Al Dressen's Western Swing Fest   features BBQ and Hall Of Fame stars of western swing in late September.

Speaking of the Dead is a ramble through Lockhart's historic cemetery with visits by long-dead spirits buried there. Hear their stories and enjoy the creepy feeling every October.

Dickens Fest inaugurates the holiday season with a lighted parade, Santa, street vendors, crafts, yule log and more on the first weekend in December on the square.
